Dial “D” for Murder
If last night’s episode of Dexter didn’t satiate your thirst for blood, then kill a hobo. Or, save yourself the guilt prison stretch by instead downloading Dexter The Game for iPhone and iPod Touch. Not a fan of the show? Try not to let your poor taste keep you from enjoying one of the best plays for iTunes so far—licensed property or not.
With Crockett and Tubbs now fat, retired and irrelevant, someone needs to keep Miami safe. That responsibility falls to you as Dexter Morgan, police blood splatter analyst by day and tortured serial killer by night. You’ll analyze crime scenes, uncover evidence, and choose which brand of justice to dole out: the courts or the kill. For the latter, you’ll stalk victims, capture and interrogate them, and fiendishly finish them off. Check out the gameplay footage to see murder in action.
Dexter The Game offers multiple control schemes—tilt to move, dual thumbsticks, single thumbstick, multi-touch—and boasts the voice of the real Dex himself, actor Michael C. Hall. The storyline is based on season one, which has our Magic 8 Ball optimistically predicting plenty more psycho bloodlust to come.
