World of Barcraft!
Get sauced on Earth with the same stein you use on Azeroth
Remember that time in elementary school when you found a bunch of mushrooms in a plastic baggie in your older brother’s room and you downed them, thinking they’d make you grow like Mario? Man, that didn’t go like you’d expected. Things really did become like a video game for a while there, though, huh?
Well, now you can once again imitate the ingestion habits of video game characters with the Tankard O’ Terror, a real life replica of a massive beer stein from World of Warcraft. In game, the tankard is attained after beating up the boozy dwarf Coren Direbrew, and it can then be used as a weapon. In real life, the tankard is attained by paying $40 to the company Taverncraft . . . and it can also be used as a weapon. Because the damn thing weighs four pounds. But be warned, it holds almost a half gallon of booze, which means the most likely person to get hammered by it is you.
In addition to the Tankard, which is available starting today, Taverncraft also hocks several WoW steins that are ornate but don’t replicate mugs from the game. All would make lovely holiday gifts to anyone in your life who is addicted to World of Warcraft and/or alcohol.
