Play Super Mario Bros. with all the Nintendo characters you liked better than Mario

What if you could cherry pick all the greatest heroes from one era and bring them together for a mission? You would probably call your team something like the Justice League or the Avengers or the New York Yankees, and they would probably be awesome.

Now what if you could gather that team with all the greatest heroes of early Nintendo games? Then you would have the new online game Super Mario Bros. Crossover. This free side-scroller emulates the original Super Mario Bros., but lets you play through the levels as famed heroes from other NES classics—using those characters' original attacks from their original games. That means you can stab Kooopa Troopas as Link. Slide into mushrooms as Mega Man. Place bombs as Samus Aran. Break blocks with your whip as Simon from Castlevania. Or, most absurdly, shoot Bowser with your machine gun as Brian from Contra.

Oh, and Super Mario Bros. Crossover also lets you hop around normally as Mario. Although if you do that, you have completely missed the point of this game.
