Get Ready to Rumble with Titan’s new line of WWE Comics
There may be five TV shows a week, numerous slobber-knockin’
pay-per-view events per year, and a host of addictive video games, but as any hardcore WWE fan will tell you, that’s never
enough.
Enter Titan Comics, home of the new series WWE Heroes, which features the biggest
names in wrasslin’ fighting through a real life and
supernatural spectacular. And while WWE-inspired comics have been around since
before Hulkamania ran wild, Heroes
writer Keith Champagne (JSA) promises
a bold new era.
“I think fans will be surprised with the direction we
take,” said Champagne. “We’re trying to tell a real story with these wrestlers,
not as the characters they play but with the men behind the masks – sometimes
literally!”
The first issue of the series – available starting tomorrow
– follows the likes of Triple H, The Undertaker, John Cena and a host of other
“faces” and “heels” as they embark on an epic adventure both inside the ring
and throughout time and history. Champagne (tag) teams up with artist Andy
Smith (Quasar), and issue #1 also
offers a collectible variant cover by Liam Sharp.
But that’s not all Titan is offering WWE fans! Check out their Web site
for more info on upcoming issues, first-look previews, exclusive offers and
digital downloads.
