Jumbo Trooper
Star Wars collectible finds a way to be both Stormtrooper and droid
Admit it, you’ve always thought that Stormtroopers were
kinda weak. Sure, their armor looks pretty cool, but it doesn’t seem to ever
protect them from anything. And shouldn’t someone have taught them how to not
get their asses kicked by ewoks?
Thankfully, Super7’s Stormtrooper Super Shogun has arrived
to give the trooping profession a needed dose of awesomeness. Standing a full
two-feet tall, the collectible is something of a hybrid, crossing the Star
Wars character with the much-beloved Shogun
Warrior fighting robots of the ’70s. Those Japanese imports have become
collector favorites, and Super7 has replicated their attributes right down to
the production technique: blow-molded polyethylene with a painted vinyl head.
Just like you’ve been dreaming of! Plus, again like those legendary toys, the
Stormtrooper Super Shogun has free-rotating wheels in his feet and a
ridiculously sweet, spring-loaded fist that launches off his arm.
So don’t ever let the Super Shogun catch you mouthing off
about Stormtroopers. He can bitch slap you from 10 meters out.
