New City of Heroes add-on lets good guys get evil. Cue maniacal laughter.

Being a superhero must be pretty tedious. You spend all of your time aiding the weak and defending the helpless. (All of whom are, let’s admit it, kinda boring.) Meanwhile, your namby-pamby moral code keeps you from using your powers to do anything legitimately fun. Like using your x-ray vision at the gym (yay yoga pants!) Or juggling fat people.

That kind of repression can make even the staunchest hero go villain. And now you can indulge your inner baddie with City of Heroes: Going Rogue. For those unfamiliar with the popular City of Heroes MMO, the game allows players to create a customized hero or villain, then venture about doing good or evil. The Going Rogue expansion, which becomes available today, finally lets heroes pull a Superman III and turn into a bad guy (no Richard Pryor required), or vice-versa for villains.
